The Digital Explosion

My name is Tim Frank Andersen.

I am 44 years old, I have an education as M.Sc. in Computer Science and have worked with Interactive Media for more than 20 years.

Today I am Partner and Chairman in the digital agency In2media - www.in2media.com

In 1995 I co-founded BBDO Interactive, which became a Standalone Web agency named Networkers, co owned by BBDO.

In 1999 I stood behind a successful merger with the Swedish Internet company Framtidsfabriken. Later that year we did an IPO on the Swedish Stock Exchange as the first Internet company in Europe.

From 1999 to 2001 I was part of the Executive Board in Framfab as Senior Vice President for international sales and marketing. I was also responsible for building Framfab´s brand globally.

In 2000 I helped found the Media Company WHERE2GO, and from 2003 until 2007 I acted as CEO. The company was sold to Aller Press in 2005.

Besides that I have been portfolio partner in the IT Venture Company IVS and Chairman of - and investor in several IT companies.

I have more than ten years of experience with developing successful internet strategies and digital Brand strategies for some of the largest companies in Denmark and for several international brands like Nike, Lego, Kellogg’s, Unilever and Pandora.

In 1998 I published the very successful book:”Brandbuilding on the Internet” together with Martin Lindstrom. The book has later on been translated into Japanese and Chinese.

For eight years I have been appearing biweekly on the Danish national TV station TV2 on the subject of new technology. And in 2007 I was the host on the TV series called “Denmark’s best Idea” on TV2.

in 2003 I was appointed by the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation as chairman of the board responsible for developing the Danish IT research strategy.

For the last four years I have been a member of the Danish ICT Council under the ministry of Science.

Besides that I am an often used speaker.

Den digitale eksplosion

 En række nøgleteknologier er godt i gang med at forandre og præge vores hverdag - både privat og i arbejdssammenhænge. Det får indflydelse på alt fra hvordan vi lærer, hvordan vi holder os sunde, hvordan vi samarbejder og hvordan vi bygger fremtidens virksomheder.

 Men det stopper ikke her. Vores omgivelser bliver i stigende grad intelligente og vi vil inden længe være omgivet af et ”Internet of Things” som skaber helt nye muligheder, men også en række udfordringer.

 Kom med i det digitale ”TV køkken” og få et overblik og en demonstration af de væsentligste teknologiske områder, der står foran et gennembrud indenfor 3-5 år og hvordan det vil ændre alt fra skoler til sygehuse, hvordan det vil få indflydelse på indretningen af fremtidens arbejdspladser, vores hjem samt  hvilke konsekvenser udviklingen kan få for vores måde at leve og omgås på.



Har papiret en fremtid?

Verden bliver stadig mere digital og både investeringer og mediekroner søger med meget høj hastighed mod de digitale kanaler.

 Men en række spændende nye teknologier giver nyt liv til papiret ved at linke de trykte medier direkte til digitale platforme og derved skabe nye forretningsmuligheder og Call to Actions.

 Samtidig bliver det hele tiden nemmere at genbruge de trykte publikationer digitalt og på denne måde skabe nye muligheder – både kommunikationsmæssigt samt forretningsmæssigt
